Juniper?

This rye pale ale was made with a significant amount of rye in the grain bill. Perhaps surprisingly, we also added juniper berries. Why? Juniper berries have been used in brewing since ancient times. They add some bitterness and give pine-like resiny flavors along with some citrus notes. When making "Through the Rye," we used juniper berries alongside citra hops giving it a distinct aroma and flavor we know you'll enjoy.
