This beer was made for a "Beers Made by Walking" event. The goal was to get inspired by local fauna/flora and to make a beer. The walk took place around the South Bay Salt Ponds and our beer was inspired by the visual aspects of our walk, mostly the bright orange color of the Dodder plant, a parasitic plant that grows attached to other plants and looks like a tangled mess of orange twine. This beer was made with Bravo, El Dorado and an experimental hop. It also has a unique ingredient giving the beer an orange hue: beets!
